Sales Training & Coaching in Amersfoort
Why here
Renewal is not automatic, yet in Amersfoort it gets treated that way. At services firms and engineering consultancies an assignment ends, someone asks whether it continues, and the conversation is over. That is precisely the moment where you could have expanded, requalified or discussed the rate. We train that conversation as a skill in its own right, with role-plays on the responses that actually come. The second block covers procurement: what to say when a rate card is requested, and how to keep the conversation on scope. For people who sell alongside their real work, the format of the coaching matters most. Long training days do not survive the first busy project week; short, fixed sessions in which real conversations are reviewed do.
No list of offices — just honesty: we work remote-first and come on-site where it truly matters, by plane if that is what it takes. Travel costs are charged on.
Our approach
The renewals and quotes from the past quarter go in alongside the conversations themselves. That shows where the conversation stops, usually at the question of whether it continues. It becomes the training plan. The first blocks practise the renewal conversation and handling the procurement rate question. We then capture it in a playbook and start coaching in short, fixed sessions, with the manager who takes them over sitting in.
Frequently asked questions
-
Our consultants do not see selling as their job. How do you train that without resistance?
By not calling it selling and not making it that either. What we train is the conversation they already have: asking what is coming after this assignment, digging into a problem that is not theirs, and proposing a next step. That fits their craft and yields more than an acquisition course they experience as out of character. The resistance usually sits in the word, not in the behaviour.
-
How do you sustain coaching in an organisation where everyone is on projects?
By keeping the format small. A fixed half hour a week reviewing one recorded conversation lasts longer than a training day per quarter. We attach it to a meeting that already exists so no new appointment appears, and we train the manager to run the session themselves. Once that works, we can step out.
