Outbound & Cold Outreach in Ghent
Why here
Outbound from Ghent has two very different recipients. The first is a researcher or development engineer, often abroad, who receives messages daily and applies exactly one test: is there anything here I did not already know. An opening line about your solution never passes that test; a reference to a measurement, a changing standard or a comparable application does. The second is the technical lead at a canal-zone site who writes the specification before purchasing sends anything out. That person is worth speaking to well before a review round, and then not again until there is something new to report. So we build two sequences with a different tone, a different pace and a different objective, and we check the sending setup before the first message leaves.
No list of offices — just honesty: we work remote-first and come on-site where it truly matters, by plane if that is what it takes. Travel costs are charged on.
Our approach
Per audience we define who you want to speak to and which signal makes it relevant now. We build the lists and check them by hand, because a wrong department in the greeting closes this type of contact immediately. Then we write two message sequences and a call script carrying the same message. Before anything goes out we set up a separate sending domain and verify SPF, DKIM and DMARC. From then on we review weekly which list and which copy produced conversations.
Frequently asked questions
-
Do researchers actually reply to a cold message?
If it is about their subject and it is short, more often than you would expect. What does not work is a sequence of five reminders: with this audience the second follow-up without new content is enough to be filed as a supplier who pushes. So we work with fewer messages, more substance per message and longer gaps, and we save the phone for the moment there is already some recognition.

Do we approach in Dutch or in English?
That depends on the recipient, not on where you sit. Contacts at the canal-zone sites often speak Dutch, while your research customers in Germany or the United States work in English and will not read a Dutch message at all. We record the language per contact in the list, so the sequence and the follow-up leave in the right language automatically.
What you invest depends on what we build. The homepage says where it starts.
