Sales Training & Coaching in Leuven
Why here
In Leuven the most important sales conversations are usually held by people who would not call themselves salespeople. An engineer talking to a fellow engineer has an advantage no account manager can copy: he is believed. What is missing sits at the end of the conversation. Nobody asks who signs, which budget year applies, who internally might object, and what the next meeting is. We train exactly those four questions and rehearse them until they stop feeling awkward, with role-plays in which the counterpart stays vague, because that is what happens in practice. On top of that comes something not needed elsewhere: persistence through a cycle of many months. We train what you do in month seven when nothing is moving, and which follow-up adds substance rather than reminding someone you exist.
No list of offices — just honesty: we work remote-first and come on-site where it truly matters, by plane if that is what it takes. Travel costs are charged on.
Our approach
A number of real conversations go first, preferably including an evaluation review, with a note on where the direction falls away. In almost every case the conversation turns out to end with 'let us stay in touch'. That becomes the first training block, with exercises on your proposition and your type of customer. Between two blocks your people hold those conversations for real, and we review them together. At the end there is a playbook with the four closing questions and a follow-up rhythm for long cycles.
Frequently asked questions
-
Our engineers hold the conversations themselves. Is the point of this training to turn them into salespeople?
No, and that would strip away the strength they already have. What we train is small: keep probing until you understand how the decision is made here, and end the conversation with a concrete appointment. That is not a different personality, it is four questions you learn to ask without it feeling like selling. The technical explanation they are already good at we leave untouched.

What do you do during the quiet months of an eighteen-month deal?
Send something that helps the other side, or send nothing. A contentless reminder weakens your position with a technical audience, while a measurement, a changed standard or an application at a comparable party does give a reason to reply. We draw up a calendar of such moments together, so follow-up becomes something you prepare rather than something you think of once it has been quiet for a while.
