Sales Training & Coaching in Westland
Why here
In Westland a salesperson is judged in the first two minutes. Not on presentation, but on whether he knows what he is talking about: which crop, which season, what is happening on the floor right now. Without that he gets politeness and no second meeting. So our training blocks start with that preparation and only then move to conversation structure. After that we train the two objections that always come up here: 'I will wait until after this season', and the price conversation, which in trade is fought over cents per kilo and in technology over payback time. Two entirely different conversations, with different role-plays. If a son or daughter of the second generation has just moved into a sales role, we coach them separately — selling to people who already know your parents asks something else.
No list of offices — just honesty: we work remote-first and come on-site where it truly matters, by plane if that is what it takes. Travel costs are charged on.
Our approach
Listening in is the first step: calls, quotes and the follow-up afterwards, all of it real. From that we extract where it goes wrong, and that becomes the training plan — not a programme off the shelf. The first blocks follow in the weeks after, with role-plays on the objections that genuinely come up at your company. Then coaching continues in a rhythm: reviewing calls, walking the pipeline with the people themselves, and training your manager to take that over.
Frequently asked questions
-
Our sales people are not growers. How do they still get taken seriously?
Through preparation, not through pretending. A salesperson does not need to be a crop specialist, but before the meeting he has to know which crop is standing, how the season is running and what this owner is dealing with right now. We fix that as a standing ten-minute preparation routine, then train the question you can ask because of it.

How do you train the price conversation in fresh-produce trade?
With role-plays at the real pace. In trade the price conversation lands in seconds and runs on cents per kilo; there is no room for an extended value argument. So we practise short answers that do not immediately give ground, naming what you deliver alongside price — reliability, grading, feedback — and recognising the moment to let an order go.
