Outbound & Cold Outreach in Nijmegen
Why here
An engineer rarely accepts a sales call, and that is not obstinacy. He judges within one sentence whether you know what you are talking about, and one wrong technical detail is reason enough to end it. So our opening is short, factual and aimed at an application rather than at an offer, and the goal of that first contact is a substantive conversation, not a slot in the diary. The channel shifts with it: for this audience a precise written message often works better than a call, while the phone is exactly the right channel towards purchasing. For care and research institutions we build a separate route. Cold-calling a hospital yields little; the way in runs through researchers, departments and gatherings, after which the follow-up gets automated.
No list of offices — just honesty: we work remote-first and come on-site where it truly matters, by plane if that is what it takes. Travel costs are charged on.
Our approach
Your own technical people read the opening first, because they hear immediately what is off. In parallel we build the list on role and application, checked by hand, and separate the route towards engineering from the route towards purchasing. Then the sequence, the call script and the objection list are ready and it starts running, with a weekly review of which conversations actually came out of it.
Frequently asked questions
-
Our audience is developers and engineers. What works on the phone there?
Little, unless you have already had substantive contact. What does work is a short message asking one concrete question about their application, visibly written by somebody with knowledge. Call afterwards by all means, because then there is a reason. Cold-calling without one is what ensures you never reach that person again.
-
Can our first email be technical, or does that put people off?
Technical is fine, long is not. One correct term and one concrete question show that you live in their world; three paragraphs of specifications will not be read. Have your own engineer check the text for factual errors beforehand. It is a short check, and it prevents the one mistake you cannot repair with this audience.
What you invest depends on what we build. The homepage says where it starts.
