AI Lead Generation in Enschede
Why here
A spin-off at Kennispark Twente usually has a customer list rather than a customer profile: the first clients came out of the university network and share nothing except that somebody knew them. For lead generation that is unusable. So the first job is turning 'anyone who could use our measurement technology' into a testable definition: which type of organisation, which process, which trigger. The list then splits in two, because from Enschede North Rhine-Westphalia is closer than the Randstad. The German half calls for different job titles, different forms of address and a slower cadence. In the manufacturing corner around the Havengebied and Josink Es something else applies: there the buyer is not an engineer but a purchaser, and we select on signals around outsourcing, capacity and supplier changes rather than on technical kinship.
No list of offices — just honesty: we work remote-first and come on-site where it truly matters, by plane if that is what it takes. Travel costs are charged on.
Our approach
The customer list becomes a profile first: we walk through the existing clients one by one and work out what they genuinely have in common. That produces the definition, and with it the first list. We split it by language area straight away and record, per segment, which role sits at the table and which signal counts. The opening messages and qualification rules exist before anything is sent.
Frequently asked questions
-
Our clients so far came out of the university network. How do you build a list from that?
Not by extending that network but by taking it apart. For each existing client we look at the process your technology sits in, the reason they were searching at the time, and the role that carried the budget. Usually one repeatable pattern and one lucky break emerge. We build the list on that pattern, with companies nobody at your firm knows, which is exactly why they represent new revenue.
-
We want to enter the German market. Can that list run in the same sequence?
In the same structure, yes; in the same sequence, no. German buying roles carry different titles, are addressed more formally and expect documentation in German. So we build two segments with their own salutation, their own pace and their own follow-up, measured separately. What we do not do is translation or legal localisation; the copy is written together with someone who genuinely commands the language.
What you invest depends on what we build. The homepage says where it starts.
